or anyone who intends to from here on out

1. their parts are good, they fit well, and are good for our cars (technical discussion part), and fairly reasonably priced

HOWEVER

just recently the person who took my order at their office charged
quite a bit onto my credit card which i used to purchase something from them

to be exact, 6000$ charged onto the card

I just want to warn anyone who has dealt with them because something like this is inexcusable.

Jeff Watson @ Champion Toyota.

He has been selling to US MKIII owners for quite some time (10+ years). I m going to gues that it was not Jeff W but one of the processors that process the CC.

You never should talk with anyone else besides Jeff Watson when it comes to ordering part. The prices he gives us will be well below reasoanble. They are actually close to what their mechanics pay for it.

I wouldn't worry about it, as mentioned, I'm sure it was just a mistake, an isolated incident for sure. We've done business with them for years with no problems.

I've bought plenty from them too. With both my personal accounts and when I was running the shop.

I have never had a problem with them.

Call them and ask them what's up. It's likely just an error.

Also report it to your CC company for your own protection.

I'm thinking the OP had one hell of a night at the Bunny Ranch and just forgot that he charged it........:naughty:

As everyone else has posted, this has to be an error. I know I've purchased at least five grand in toyota parts from Jeff for mine and my wife's car, and I've never had one unauthorized part charged to my card.

You never know who you are dealing with whether you do it face to face, over the internet, or on the phone. It could just be some temporary employees they had there just to help get paperwork caught up. Halfway through the day, he/she notices that there are credit card numbers on most of what they handle. As the day goes by, they decide to copy down a card number or two to see if they could get away with using it.

It happens. As the economy gets tighter and tighter, you should keep a tighter watch on your statements from anything you do. XYZ company is a little behind budget this month. Some sales people actually wanting to help the company stay alive may double charge you for things, hoping you won't notice. 9 out of 10 get taken back off because of the "mistake", but every now and then, it is just extra profit. People do it if they can get away with it, and companies are just as bad.

I'm with everybody else on this one. Jeff Watson is trustworthy, and a major asset to the entire Supra community. Champion Toyota has also been good to us. One employee of Champion just might not be. I'm sure if they are caught, they won't be an employee there any longer.

Deal with Jeff, and only Jeff. Don't speak with anyone else.

My Dad and I have spent thousands of dollars on each of our Supras through him.

everything I have purchased from Jeff has been a lot cheaper than what I have expected...door lock bezels, 1JZ timing belt components and oil seals, coolant hoses and thermo's, shift boot, all kinds of goodies.

I think that calling directly and saying your a SM member gets you a better rate than online at Champion, but I haven't compared the prices.
