I didn't hone mine out, but I stuck it (just the hub) in the oven for 30 min @ 300F. That was enough to make it slip easily. Once it cooled down, it was stuck!! It still came out easily with a hub puller though. Good luck and it sounds like you may want to test drive it to WA this weekend :)

Thanks Ron :) I have to make a bracket for the pickup still before I can start it back up

a if you engine is blue printed and you throw on light wheil blancer you mtoro is no longer blance same as if you were to change clutches as well em my self beleav this and will shorten the life of the motor

reson being is i am about to put new blancer on my self and switch to diffent fly wheel

will this no take my nice blanced motor out fo wack

i think it will but what do you gusy think

I come from a land down under
Ryan: Our motors use 0 balance dampers and flywheels meaning the rest of the motor is balanced independent of the damper/flywheel those being balanced on their own so changing either shouldn't affect overall balance.

Ryan: Correct doesn't make a difference if you use a 6m or a 7m crank.

They're both "balanced" they just do it differently if you compare the size/location of the counterweights.

Our cranks are big long wet noodles and deflect quite a bit in use the 7M style crank helps keep this to a minimum using evenly spaced counterweights.
