okay so ive got a question about injectors for you all. My goal is about 400-450 hp. Right now ive got 3in exhaust, fmic, walbro, and maft pro. Think im going to go with a 57 trim, or something with similar specs.

Ive noticed alot of people use 550 injectors with the lexus maf. And ive seen a few people with 400hp with stock injectors. So are people using 550 injectors to trick the ecm, or are they a good thing to have to get 400hp easier? thanks

Shouldn't really go past 80% duty cycle with injectors. Which is about 350hp or so with stock 440. Plus there 20 year old injectors wouldn't chance my motor for cheeping out. Precision has good injectors at a fair price. Domestic 14mm injectors are cheaper but there not pnp unless you get the rail machined for it.

Basically what hvyman said. A good way of looking at it is when you start hitting fuel cut you'll probably want to look at bigger injectors. The stock safety of fuel cut was put in for a reason ;). When you start looking for ways to get around it without looking at reliable supplying more fuel, then you're just asking for trouble.

or if you go standalone you can tweak the duty cycle and keep the 440 longer, but you'll need 550cc like hvyman said for your power goal.
