you can bake them in an ordinary oven at 150* for about 25 min to release the glue, making this much easier
it's much harder to bake, I melted 4 before I found out you can just break the plastic with a butter-knife, and scrape off the small pieces..
I've just been using a heat gun with a couple flat head screwdrivers and razor blades handy.
With the heat gun you can monitor how close the plastic is to melting. I heat it until it gets glossy, then you can carefully pry the lens off the backing.
