Hello everyone, it's my first post and I need a lil help. I live in puerto Rico and I don't know too many supra owners so here it goes, a few months ago my front wire harness catch fire because of a short circuit in the battery cables the wires below the engine fuse box burnt and some wires inside the dash wire harness also I had a bhg. I started fixing. My car took the engine out went to a machine shop bought new hks head gaske, arp head studs and flywheel bolts and a few other things, I bought another car the same year of mine for extra parts I changed all the wire harness, front wire harness dash wire harness ( it was the worst one ) and the engine wire harness, put back everything together and when I was ready to start..... Nothing, it cranks but I'm not getting spark and fuel , we check all the grounds and they are connected were they should be, fuses are ok, relays ok, I cheked with 2 different ecus, fuel pump relays, Cps, ignitors, and coil packs And nothing, can't check for codes because the diagnosis plug is damaged and the check engine light doesn't light up when I turn the key, a friend of mine checked with a multimeter for voltage, continuity and somethings( my bad I'm not to friendly with electric stuff ) and he doesn't know either what can be the problem , we jumped the fuel pump and it worked but nothing else. I'm about to go to a church to ask for an exorsism for my car to see if it works, in the meantime any help would be appretiated. Thanks

First up Paragraph's would be a good start, The Diag port is damaged, That's your first issue right there.
FYI - Just because the engine light isn't illuminated doesn't mean there isn't codes logged, You need to check your codes.

When you turn the key to Ignition (not cranking) do you get red lights appear on the dash? and did you check all the fuses/fusible links in the fuse box?

the lights that are on are:seatbelts, brake, trunk light,anti-lock and the battery, also checked with 2 different clusters to make sure the light wasnt broken, the anti lock blinks 2 or 3 times turns off and then stays on.the fuses are nice they came off with the wire harness from the car i bought for parts and the car was running fine.BTW i didnt swap my engine to the other car because it was crashed in the front it has no headlights no nose, bumper etc, its just for extra parts

ok, put a wire from +B straight to the positive of the battery and then the CEL should turn on and then you should be able to start the car. if your CEL is not on its cause your +B is not getting power, thats why most of the people ask for this, and even my car has the same problem

Redacted per Title 18 USC Section 798
1) No spark and fuel combined with no key-on MIL indicates no power to the ECU. That should be your first priority.

2) Codes can be checked by grounding Te1 at the ECU connector. If the MIL isn't working they can be read using a meter on pin W referenced to +12 volts. Or use Vf with the throttle closed. Vf won't show specific codes but it'll tell if any are set. Course, the ECU needs to have power before any of this can be done.

ok, i connected the wire from positive battery to +b and it worked, then checked for codes and it has 24 {Intake air Temp Sensor Signal} dont know whats that, and 31 and 32, i think its because it doesnt has the flow meter connected.anyways wy isnt the ecu getting power the normal way??? and thanks everyone
