Are the pistons balanced per rod??

So I left my GE pistons in Simple Green for 2 days, looked just now and ALL THE CARBON WIPED OFF.... but I noticed something. The pistons had numbers on them, all I saw on one so far was something like

< 3 - 2 (the dash indicates the center of the piston)

Another one I THINK said < 2 - 2

wtf does this stuff mean?

the arrows point towrads number one, you should have marked all the rods 1-6 along with the pistons, or kept them in order.

any ways, the piston pins are offset so if you put them in wrong you'll have some major problems.

Rods are getting changed, I just need to identify the pistons, wheres a write up on the rings and where to set them? The rings are still in the pistons, and the old rods still on them, but like I said, those are changing.

Whats this about the pins? How do I determine and measure the offset and so forth.

OK, read the TSRM, I get that, but NOW I have one question not in there...

Im replacing the rods from my GE with my GTE rods, but using my GE pistons. Do I reuse the piston pins from the GE pistons bc they match the pistons, or the ones from the GTE cuz they match the rods...?

NVM, I read more through it, I pretty much understand all the of it now, I really dont think Ill have many more questions at all.

The numbers that corrospond to the piston sizes are on the block already, and these are stock pistons, FTW
