Are Gte knock sensors different than n/a?

I believe that the sensors are the same, I know that people have wired the GE knock sensor to the GTE ECU.

if i remember right, the knock is just a single wire sensor anyways, so if you got a plug that can go into it, and as long as its wired in right, its fine, i have a single NA knock (rear bank) and a GTE up front, i dont remember if i had to change plugs or not, but i know it works the same.

It's a coaxial wire, 2 conductor.

They're the same. The only ones that won't fit are from a '92 car (or some time in '92) when they switched to the square style knock sensor connectors.
