are 550cc big enough?

i have the following mods;turbonetics 60-1,bc 264 cams,hks 1 mm stopper,lex afm until its broken in,then the aem ems and map sensor,looking to run 15-18 psi max,24x12 intercooler with 2.5 hardpipes,020 wiseco pistons,eagle h beam rods,bic ddp,blitz 3 inch no cats,and looking for 400-450 whp.i have 550cc injecters now and i was just wondering if i need 720s or bigger.thank u walt.

More than enough ,it's all depend on your tune . I've seen some mkiii owners on 7MPOWER.COM make 520rwh out of 550cc with good tune . ( stay away from venom injectors)

The factory tune is very rich. And the ECU knows it. If you tune with 440's that high, you could hit a problem known as fuel trim.

I have always heard that you could get UP TO 400 on 440's, 500 on 550's, 700 on 720, etc.

But, everyone tends to prefer running their injectors a good bit under full duty cycle for safety. So I would think you'd be OK for your goals on the 550's at that. But, if you decide to go any further I'd go up on injectors then. Of course you should have it tuned properly.

This is true, i tried to leave my idle 14.7 and it didn´t work right, i had to leave it 13.5 to get to idle right
