Arctic Cat injectors in a supra?

Hey guys, I was checking out my buddies 2003 Arctic Cat firecat 700 and noticed the injectors looked just like the injectors on the 7m. I took down the part number and looked it up when I got home and found that they are actually Denso injectors. They look identical except they are yellow.

I don't really know that much about injectors, but I found a site with info on all kinds of injectors and this is what I found

2003 F7 (maybe others to but I'm not sure)-

Now what I am wondering is where they are both low impedance shouldn't you be able to use them as a direct plug and play upgrade for injectors?
If so then why hasn't anyone mentioned this sooner(maybe someone has and I just never heard of it)?

Let me know what you guys think.

that is interesting. though being a 680cc injector, you would need to be on a maftpro or standalone to use them, which might be why you dont hear of it. have to look more into this

An injector is an injector. It doesn't matter what its installed in. If it matches mechanically (fitment into the head and into the fuel rail and mounting)and electrically (low or hi impedance and uses the same voltage values) it will work as long as you have a way to control it.

Need to take the spray pattern into account as well, I'm using LS9 Injectors in my current build and while physically the same as any other EV6 style injector they work poorly in NA manifolds due to the pattern/direction of the nozzle..

Adding to what Ian said,

You could send the injectors to DM to have Aaron test them out and check the spray pattern to see how they compare, just an option.

Yes they are exactly the same as the factory 7m harness, that's why I was so shocked I had never heard of anyone using then. I was looking around and you can get used ones for about $40 each on ebay, so $250 for plug and play 650cc injectors.

Except 650cc isn't much use unless you have a standalone, or piggyback fuel management. 550cc would be far more useful.

I hear you, but as many people that are out there with at least a safc or maft pro, I would have thought someone would have noticed this.

I myself am using maft pro with speed density and will most likely end up switching out my 550's for something bigger in the future, but I have already changed my harness to the Ev1 clips so this really wouldn't be of any use to me. I just thought I would bring it up on here in case someone was in my situation and didn't want to change their stock clips, I figured someone would find this useful.

Perhaps the EFI 550 grizzly uses these..
As far as I know the stock Grizzly injectors are high impedance and only 420cc but there may be other ATV/Motorcycles out there with denso style, low impedance injectors, it would just take some research.

I for one would possibly be interested in this upgrade.
I already have 560cc EVO injectors, and they work great. I too have replaced my original plugs on my harness to EV-1 style.
However, I am building a new engine, and I have a brand new oem harness in the bag, and I really don't wish to hack it up, or use an adapter plug setup.
These 650's would be perfect.

Somewhat inactive thread, but is anyone using these yet?
To me, it seems like a perfect upgrade, considering that they're oem Denso injectors, and plug right into out harnesses.
If nobody is, then I guess I'll be a guinea pig. Just ordered a set.

Awesome, let us know how they work out. If I had figured this out two weeks before I did I would have gave it a shot but I had already rewired for RC injectors.

Good luck, I hope they work out for you.

I really don't need them for my power goals, but I just don't want to splice my new factory harness for the clips.
So instead, I'll sell my old harness with the 560's, and recoup some of my money.
