Guys, I know this area is usually for get togethers but does anyone that owns a Supra in the Apex, Cary, or the Raleigh area of NC have an OBD1 for toyota that they wouldn't mind bringing by my house and hooking up on my supra, the car is in Apex. I just rebuilt the engine, the car was running fine except for when it was at idle due to no O2 sensor, now I installed one and the car starts but immediately either runs lean or too rich and cuts off. Help, please.
Thanks.

you don't need a reader. all you need is a paperclip. Jump TE1 E1 on the diags block.

If I were to guess, You don't have the AFM hooked up.

No, I need to read trouble codes and dont own a scan tool. My AFM is new and installed, thanks though.

why would you need a tool... just do what pioneer said and jump te1 and e1 and it will flash all of your codes... to retrieve what the codes me go to supras.com and then click on sogi... and then the supra tsrm... there it will give you what codes mean what and how to read them from the flashes...

Ok well I gotcha on that, thats cool ,that I won't need a scan tool, anyway, I own a Haynes repair manual but it doesn't have a good vacuum diagram, anyone willing to do a favor and drive out to help me get that situated, or let me, take picutes of their 7m-ge engine bay so i can clearly see where the vacuum lines go and if mine are hooked up right. I know mine are connected and are right going into the VSV but I'm confused when I get around the EGR valve because there's two main vacuum lines on mine one stems across the firewall (from the speed actuator) and I don't know what the leg off that one really plugs into the other one I have hooked up from the VSV to the EGR. Anyone? it doesn't have to be soon? I live in Southern Pines and the car is at my parent's house in Apex. I could arrange something like on the weekend to fit someone else's schedule. Help would be greatly appreciated.
