You could always use the same CA18DET we had here in the 200SX

Basically You swap in a SR20DE - Turbo it.
Make sure it's 5 Lug, If not, Make it one.
Upgrade the Clutch, Fly weel.
Then susepension

- End Result? Perfect little drift car that is very easy to replace with a new shell. Some people turbo the KA24DE (Which is where the KA24DET comes from) Same for the SR20DET in a lot of cases I believe. I'm posotive that the KA24 has the same problem as the 7MGE though in lacking piston squirters!

Over all the 240sx makes a pretty inexpensive and simple project for those who are just on break from their Supra etc. Funnnnnnn Daily drivers too.

the KA24DE is quite a good motor. my dd is an s13 240 which utilizes the same KA24DE. if you take care of them, they will last forever.

I drive it HARD every day and drift around most corners EVERY DAY.
to this day, I haven't owned a more reliable car.

It is extremely fuel efficient, has a good amount of power, and even more torque. and requires very little maintenance. oh..it handles great.

and FYI, the sr20 comes turbo and nonturbo. for the sylvia, it is turbo.

ahhhhhh... saw it yesterday! steering wheel airbag and passenger air bag was deplyed and the radio is gone. smells like a gutted cat mis matching wheels.

but i found a better one for almost the same price today. only downside... burgundy. haha

all S13's came 4 lug, and we all know there's nothing wrong with them..

too many people swap out the KA for SR's, which to me is kind of a cop-out, seeing as the KA has almost half a liter bigger, and once built, can prove very capable...

I had a 1993 hatch, and loved every minute of it...

true. the burgundy one has a rebuilt title but seems like no gimmicks behind this one. and for $3200 =D what a steal. $300 for an orange peel BLACK paint-job.
