I didn't think it was legal to sell a car with MIL on. Also, the smog is supposed to be the sellers responsibility if it is due within a certain period.

I'd go there, check it out, pull a code, and see what's up.

whats MIL? price is pretty good if everything is running fine like he says. Just curious about the engine light. How would I go about pulling codes for the 240?

I think you need an actual code checker to look at it. Generally 240's are pretty reliable. Make sure it can pass smog before you buy it haha.

can someone tell me why this car is appealing?

I'm not fond of this model's look, is the engine a good one? no offense it's just not my favorite model and i'm wondering why you're interested in it.

yeah, its a good price, its appealing to me because if it cost less than $500 to fix the problem with the engine light then i'll be making some good money for myself. haha mainly to learn how to drive a manual car and then selling it.

Engine: Shitty KA24DE
Weight: Light
Weight Ratio: 49/50

Basically You swap in a SR20DE - Turbo it.
Make sure it's 5 Lug, If not, Make it one.
Upgrade the Clutch, Fly weel.
Then susepension

- End Result? Perfect little drift car that is very easy to replace with a new shell. Some people turbo the KA24DE (Which is where the KA24DET comes from) Same for the SR20DET in a lot of cases I believe. I'm posotive that the KA24 has the same problem as the 7MGE though in lacking piston squirters!

Over all the 240sx makes a pretty inexpensive and simple project for those who are just on break from their Supra etc. Funnnnnnn Daily drivers too.
