Anyone with a roof mounted bike rack?

I'm going to start biking since I am getting fat. I can fit the bike in the supra but it would be nice to just get a bike rack so I still have plenty of room in the car. Anyone have any recommendations?

Already have one and getting another one soon.. but I want one for the supra. more fun to get to the trails and stuff.

Now, if you got a tow hitch, and got one of the bike holders that went on that, I guess it would be OK...

I built a rack to go on the tow hitch.
(used to throw it in the Hatch but once I got to 4" travel suspension it wouldn't fit)

Roof racks both suck and blow for fuel economy.

I fit my old downhill bike in the back of my old MKIV. Its all in how you turn it and who wants to ride with you.

And another plus of the tow-hitch rack is that when its not in use it adds weight to the rear of the car helping with the balance of the car.

I have a Thule on the back of my Supra.
It has the Hide-a-hitch,mounts to the bumper lower with no problem.

Too much of a hassle to get the wheels off on a mountain bike w/ suspension. And then after you ride and your all beat up, you have to do it again to get it home.

the genuin toyota one does not require for you bumber cover to be cut

the after market ones do

then just buy the adaptor for the bike part

my bike fits in the back. front tire just needs to come off. and it's a 20mm fixed axel so it is doable.
