Just curious as to how many UFC or mixed martial art fans we have on here. My brother and I are going to watch it. I'm just curious as to how you can hurt a man that's built like a tank and is big as a statue. Frank Mir isn't little by no means. I think he's like six foot three and about two fifty, so he's probably not used to being such an underdog in size. Hopefully they'll have some good fights other than that one.

I know how tired you get. I built houses for probably six or seven years and I've wrestled a thousand times probably. We would wrestle against other crews, each other, or a battle royal. On your birthday everyone would gang up on you. I would get in a corner and try to fend them off, but it will only work for a little while. I miss those days bad, now I'm old, and decrepit and would probably break in half if I was body slammed. I also use to box when I was about twenty to twenty five. Now Im thirty seven, and I'd rather not have anyone hit me in the face if I can help it.........:biglaugh:

Joey, I'll let you know who wins, and I too pick it ending in submission by Frank Mir. He's got a great ground game.

Is this the free fight they were advertising during the last PPV event?

Only reason I ask is if it's free I'll watch at home with my beer, if it's not I'll goto the bar and watch there but have to drink their beer.

This fight is going to cost $44.95 which is five dollars more than any other fight I've ever bought. It must mean all fights this year will be $44.95. We usually split it three ways so it's not that expensive.

Momodu, I dont' get in mean spirited fights. I love to wrestle or kickbox, but only when in jest. Its sometimes hard not to get upset when they land a good one on you though. I haven't had a good wrestling match in probably a year. A young guy I had working for me was young and full of piss and vinegar was running his head one night after we got through working. We were working at a college at night. He thought he was ten foot tall and bullet proof, but I brought him down a nothch. We wrestled for his day of pay, double or nothing. In less than a minute, I had him pinned and in a rear naked choke. He gave up easily and that pissed me off, because he had been running his head. I made him tell the other two guys that worked for me, that he was a pussy. He didn't want to say it at first, but I told him he would be asleep in less than a minute and that would be even better. He got scared and told them he was a pussy. I kept his pay, but gave it back to him on friday. I'm just tooo nice a guy..........:biglaugh:

no you're not. Some people need to get a slice of humble pie once in a while. My uncle is 5 years older than you and I wouldnt fight him for the life of me! He's a two time champion in kickboxing and he knows some wrestling. He'd wipe the floor with me in a minute. It just goes to show you that age doesnt me anything in combat sprots. Somebody should have told Tim Sylvia that:biglaugh:

I see everyone on here completely missed Brocks 1st MMA fight ???
He OBLITERATED his opponent. Just straight up jumped on him wrestled him to the ground, smothered him and was STILL going like an animal until the ref called it.
He's got some INSANE conditioning to go along with his world record professional wrestling career (outside the WWE of course)

Can't wait to watch this showdown. Mir used to be THE MAN till his accident. As much as I'd like to see him back to his old self, I highly doubt it'll be against this manimal Brock !

Frank won. He got lucky in the very first part of the fight and then got Brock in a leg bar and submitted him.
