Anyone to get a window sticker scan if the VIN is no longer in the database?

On SF awhile back, Elmhurst Toyota had a thing where if you gave them your VIN, they would email you a copy of the original window sticker. I was too late by about two months, because they said they had just deleted old vins a few months back. So is there anyway to obtain a copy even if they don't have my vin in the database? Or am I missing something?

Its not going to happen, our cars are too old and they don't store everything in their databases indefinitely.

i just got my dads from his 91 from Elmhurst from SF and i tried to get mine for my 87 but he said the data base only went back to 89 or 90, i cant remember. Although i do have my original bill of sale, 26,700.
