- intake pipes sitting on oil cap
- intake pipes close to alternator pulley
- intake pipes close to battery terminal
- numerous missing/wrong clamps
- dodgy wiring
- heater hoses aren't where they should be, not sure what's going on there

The cc relieves the tank from all kinds of pressure and puts those vapors back into the intake. No reason to remove it other thank "looks".

1 vacuum line goes to the metal pipe infront of the 3000 pipe which iirc is for the charcaol canister and the other goes to the vacuum pipes in front of the intake prolly for a vsv or something which we cant see but both are prolly gone.

Highly doubt there is egr on there either.

Unless this car is cheap i would either keep looking or just find a totally stock one in good condition and do proper mods and take care of it.

the cc keeps the smell of raw gas down. with it gone it will vent fuel vapors from the line into the hood area (since i assume the hose isnt capped) and can potentially casue a fire.

The charcoal canister is not there for smell. Also if you remove it your suppose to cap the line and use a vented gas cap.

Aha so I need to hook the cc back up or get a vented gas cap and cap it of. Thank you guys so much this is all great info. And yes got it pretty cheap. The car has 550 injectors, lexas maf, 3500 miles on rebuild, arp head bolts, hks head gasket, and all the electronics( greedy turbo timer, afm neo, wideband) and some other things and I picked it up for under 2500. So I think I got a good deal on it. A little elbow gress and some money and I'll have her back right in no time.

It'll probably be another 1000 bucks before that thing is even reasonably put back together, and thats basing it off of only what I can see in that picture. Who knows how badly that "rebuild" was done inside.

dude...ive removed my entire evap system i ran the hose from the fuel tank under the car..not saying it was right but its fine....i have that same loop in my TB and they were capped before i did that and its fine. the heat shroud on the turbo needs to go back on though im not sure the exhaust one is that big a deal as long as you protect your wires properly....i dont think its that big a turd really and with a bit of work youll be fine....now im going to put on my blind fold enjoy my last smoke and get ready for the firing squad...eek....

and not to step on my own toes here and i hope i dont make any enemies but dude its your car...enjoy it....im assuming it will be somewhat of a project car so it shouldnt be perfect....youll learn tons just getting it where YOU think it should be....and maybe its the okie in me but i like a bit of redneckness in it and i love the little quirks MY car has as much as they may bother me too....if its the one youve decided to buy then cool you go for it and love that thing every second your in it...it doesnt have to be perfect.....and there are tons of people on here that will help you along the way....your not going to tarnish the name of supra everywhere if its got problems for a while....

that would be the left or right part of the hot part of the engine? lol

Heat rises and bends slow flow...

Also, I'd have to see the rest of the car to say if it's worth the price. With how much we all can see wrong, it's just like rust on a car, what you see is always the tip of the iceberg...

Got it today. Turbo is shot. Besides that the rest of the car is ok one dent in the hatch, needs paint, but the interior is in great shape no tears in the seats and all the electronics work(crus control, both windows, seats all functions, mirrors) does have a idle prob to. That's the tps I'm sure of.
