Anyone running a MicroTech standalone

just got a 1jz w/ microtech ecu,

it started but ran super rich (11 afr)

so i got the hand controller working and started messing w/ it, now it wont start

also have the computer cable but it doesnt plug into my laptop, any one have this issue? ive read online that it works best w/ older laptops running windows xp/98

One of the most worst standalone I have ever seen. It is good for drag racing but not for daily driving.

You will need a laptop adapter to plug it into your laptop.

You cannot get base maps sent to you online, they can only be loaded to the dongle, the laptop adapter, and then you can load them on your EMS.

Go to Microtech's site and E-Mail them. They are in Austrailia so there is a time difference.

I do concur^ pretty easy to tune but acts up all the time/ very inconsistant... very small company with bad support and no respect for customers and false promises at every corner... plus the fact that its locked to a certain setup and has to be sent back if you want it on a different setup....sell it fast and get a haltech...or ems...

also found a jz swapped bmw putting down +550

I have a micro tec lt10 with an x4 box in my 7m

there nice and simple and easy to tune and very small

And there support has all way been good to me

who tuned your microtech?

so far my biggest issue has been the previous owners wiring, injectors and coils were wired incorrectly,

im almost done w/ the wiring and will need a tune, but havent been able to find any tuners in CA, any ideas?

Micro tech is very simple I am dead certon you will not have an issue finding some one to tune
