Anyone running 17x8 rims

I'm looking to get 17x8 rims but I don't know if it will look to skinny in the back. They have staggered packages but the cost 500 more. Are any of you guys running 8 inch wide rims all around?

17x8 fits no problem, as long as the offset is correct. That's a bit narrow imho.

I have mk4 rims on it now there all beat up I'm thinking I'm better off sandblasting those and getting them painted

Mk4 tt are 17/9.5 and 17/8.

17/8 all around is a bit skinny. 10/9 would good or. 9/8. Depends on offset as well.

Ya I'm gunna get mine sand blasted then powdered coated

Now the only question is what color to paint them. My car is the midnight pearl blue I was thinking a darker silver
