So, my cd with all the wiring diagrams came the other day. Only downfall is that it came after I got deployed to the desert (where I am now). So, my wife is going to send it to me and when I get it, I'll do all the figuring out of the diagrams and let you know about it.

If you go on there and type in "1JZ Pinouts", that's the guy that's selling the cd. He doesn't actually have the full wiring cd listed on ebay. But, you can message him and tell him that you would like to buy the translated diagrams for $80.

Hey, Im wiring that sucker into my friends 87 Supra as well.
So far I have collected a few data and analysis on the Soarer 1J.
But the body harness has so many wires that I have no clue what some of them are supposed to do! "Way more then the 7M itself." The biggest problem is that the soarer diagrams are in Japanese and I can't understand most of the characters.

I will work on it later today and post back. But so far most of the pin-outs are correct, and im working on translating the EFI diagram color from matching it to its correct pin out.

Some stuff:
If the wiring is an older model, it will be missing some pin outs such as 3-4 I think for the abs unit.

swordofdoom- My CD came in the mail back at home. My wife is going to send it to me over here in the desert where I'm deployed. So, when I get it I will do some looking to find out what needs to be wired up and let you know. I've spent a lot of time looking at the schematics.

turbodriz- I had the same problem. I was able to find a set of jza70 engine mount brackets from a member on here. The 1jz went into my 91'.

That's cool. So, your wiring shouldn't be too bad either. Good luck with the swap.

Any luck so far, I gave up on the wiring because I have been to busy with school and work.

Haven't given up. I'm deployed to the desert till the middle of may. So, when I get back, I'll be tackling that.

Ive still been too busy to spend any time on it, but I may have found a master 1j wiring man who will hopefully be able to sort mine out.
Ill do what I can to find out what needs doing, if i get to watch/help (if he even does it)

From what I heard most of not all of the soarers are auto That would be my biggest issue since i love manuel.

I can help i figured out over 90% of the pinouts just by analyzing the complete clip i ordered. If you have a complete clip it will be about 100X easier who knows you could build a soapra.

I figured out how ricks guide was missing if going from auto pre 89 supra then to manuel you have to jumper the white/black to the blue/black to re fuse the circuit since the NSW splits it up.

I have the whole uncut harness, and can figure how to splice the wiring from the pinouts but its those damn pins that connect to the harness of the body on the soarer that I can't figure out. So far, I could make the car start, gauges work, tach work and ECT. But things like A/C or Abs, or Cruise..Nope or MISc things. Cuz I can't Read Japanese
