I just need to vent... I was playing some online poker and this happened.

Cash table .25/.50 (i know big bucks lol but its NL so it does get high)

im on the button

table folds around to me i have pocket jacks i have about 25 bucks at the table with me... the two guys behind me have 30 and 35 bucks.

i bet out with a BIG 13 dollar raise. (remember the big blind is only .50 cents). BOTH the SB and the BB call me. so im like oooook.

flop comes

Jc 3s 9d

so i have trip jacks...it checks around to me... i go all in with my remaining 12 dollars. next guy folds...other guy instantly calls me. im like oooook.

turn comes out

Ad

river comes out

10d

at this point i know i got screwed over...and sure enough this JACKASS flips over a 6d 4d

WHY IN THE HELL DO YOU CALL A 13 DOLLAR RAISE WITH 6 4????

ON TOP OF THAT WHY DO YOU CALL A 12 DOLLAR RAISE AFTER THE FLOP WHEN YOU HAVE NOTHING???

WOW its only 25 bucks but the pot was about 65.....that pisses me off..its like they rewarded him for his idiocy...and he was defending himself saying it was a good play etc... WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT...

That is what happens when you have amateurs around you. You just have to deal with it and continue to play the way you play. I Played yesterday night and had a bad beat similiar to yours (Runner Runner).

I have Ace-D Queen-D, Friend had King & 6 of Spades. Big Blinds is 150.00 and Small Blind is 75.00. I raise 3 times the big blind (450.00), he calls. Flop is Ace Heart, 6 Club, 2 of spades, I go all in i have around 2150.00 left in chips and i have him covered and he calls. Well as you already know i lose He hit Runner Runner on me with spades and im out of the tournament....
I was pissed that night but Hey thats poker for ya....:icon_conf

Sounds like you were at an easy table. Whenever you find a table like that, bring lots of money and stay a long time. You should be happy if you have people committing that much money with nothing.

Not defending your opponents play in any way(horrible - get used to it if you continue to play) - but I always see people with 10's, J's, and even Q's over-raise the pot preflop to try to get rid of any non-premium hands. Better players will call that raise preflop knowing they can likely win a pot if any king or ace comes out (or if they actually make a hand).

You should not ever need to vent because of a bad beat like this - it means you're letting the game get to you. When it happens, just smile - because if you keep getting your opponents money in badly, it will more than even out.
