Anyone know of a good shop in ottawa canada?

I was going to bring my car to tapp auto but these guys think im just some punk kid who doesn't know anything about my car. I call in and the guy is trying to explain to me that they cant just throw the headgasket on and out the door, there is machining involed etc. I tell them what i want and they give me a quote for 2100 fucking dollars.. like what the fuck. I told them I wanted my head pulled off, inspect block and head, if block is ok machine head, cometic headgasket, arp studs, any new seals that can be replaced, oil change and cooling flush. she tells me that price of 2100.. like HOLY shit.

Anyone know of a good shop in ottawa area that treats the little guys just as good as the big guys?

They will rip you off anywhere in ottawa that I can think of. I learned that the hard way my first supra, then did all the work myself afterwards. You can do it yourself for much less. I replaced my hg on my old 88 NA over a weekend doing it slowly.

Ask some supra guys in your area to help you out.
You order the parts and I am sure you will be paying alot less than $2100...probably pay a couple of hundred $$ to the guys...
That way you can learn too.

I wanted to do it myself then realized i have absoloutly no place to do it. I can't at my dads he is scared i will ruin his precious driveway. If i could find some guys in my area to help hell i would love to pay them to get it done in like a week or something (time to gather parts, head plaining if needed and so on)

Anyone in ottawa wanna help me out?!?!?!?!?!?!!
