I'd be upset too...no need for a computer to be out of commission for a whole month. I read an article on best buy doing this on purpose to charge more.

We had an old guy at the store I work at get tackled and carried out of the store by sheriff officers, because he got pissed that GS hadn't given him his laptop back yet. Apparently he'd been waited like a month for it to get fixed and every time he called he got the run around. One day he came in got pissed, started yelling and swearing, and kept saying go ahead and call the cops, which I thought was weird. Well one of the managers did, and when they showed up the guy started going off on them too. So they ended up tackling the guy, and the guy crossed his legs when they had him on the ground so they couldn't stand him up, so about 4 officers carried him out of the store. It was fucking nuts. And they had his computer all he had to do was wait for the customers that were ahead of him to be helped and he would have gotten it. Fucking old people man..

Hey dont knock him. PORN is an addiction..LMAO I had a friend that went there,(By friend I mean a 300 lb black lady who thought she was a vampire slave) ;and when she couldn't get her computer back to get back to her porn and wickidness, she got into it with the counter person, and grabbed him by the collar, pulled him over the counter, and beat his ass. She went to jail...but I would have bailed her out just to see it. LMAO

As for going to work for them, GS is a joke. Most of them just know how to run virus checks, and maybe windows update. They are not certified technicians. I wouldn't work there for $14/hr. Just freelance it, you will be suprised at how much work you might get, and experience. If all else fails, google the problem. (Thats what they do) LOL

Here's a nother tid bit, my grandma bought a PC and had them do thier "startup" on it, they basically told her it wouldnt run if they didnt so they ripped her off of 50 bucks, I completely deleted everything and reinstalled windows XP for her (this was a year ago) because it was a pentium 4 with all kinds of good stuff in it and it ran like shit, they install all this trila free bullshit that slows the PC down major, now it runs like a 1JZ on crack, LOL.
