^ Then just pull the clutch fork as mentioned numerous times in this thread. Then separate the transmission from the motor.

Pull....HARD.

That didn't work for me!!!! LOL

Take off the inspection plates. Look in there you'll see the clutch fork and a pin That keeps it in place. At the end of the pin there is a little c clamp get a long screwdriver and remove it. The pin should come off now, along with the clutch fork. Now the engine should be free.

Assuming you are going to put it all back in... Just remember whether you pull the tranny and put it all back in as one piece (my recommendation) or if you leave tranny in place and put motor back in - TRSM instructs to place pressure plate and disc on input shaft, then slide motor into place, attach bell housing bolts to block, then assemble the clutch onto the flywheel, then I slide fork into place once everything else is in and torqued down properly (this in lieu of the typical utilization of an alignment tool to install clutch onto flywheel) IMO I would make sure you have a copy of the TRSM and follow it on this one... also if you are re-using your old clutch, I hope you marked pressure plate and flywheel to insure they get put back on in the same position.

Ok so if i do what TRSM says how am i going to align the clutch & the pressure plate? Through the service sides right?

Correct, it takes a bit of time, as you have to have someone else turn the motor over from the crank pulley bolt. What I did is use a sharpie to number each bolt hole in the order of torque per TRSM, so that I knew which bolt was which looking through inspection holes. Also the clutch disk and pressure plate are already on the shaft, so no need to alignment, in fact this is better than using an alignment tool from the stand point that alignment would be perfect, versus the tool, which gets you close enough... so what it is worth... takes you longer than traditional clutch assembly but I like the design overall...
