My ucoming possible purchase :naughty: of a nice supra has prompted me to search for a car cover. Anyone have one that doesnt hav the luxury of a garage? I remember searching a while bak, but came back with no results?

My friend uses a Corvette cover fr his MR2 :dunno:

I went and picked one up from my local auto parts store and is working just fine. It is a rain barrier because I, as well, do not have the luxury of a nice heated, dry garageand it rains quite a bit here. I am getting it ready to be painted so I have no idea if it scratches the paint. right now I really don't care. I'll let you know after I get it painted.:icon_bigg

Sandpaper + rubbing = no cookie for you.

I've been using a cover on my supra since 1995. Hell of a lot better than the hot sun beating down on the paint.

Definately use a cover if it's going to sit outside, EVERYTHING on the car will benefit from it... your dash, seats, molding around the window, etc. The other day at a meet, some guy asked me if I had JDM windows moldings because he had never seen ones that looked new before.

^^ Oh, I forget, you're not in Encino :) Your cars seems to stay clean no matter what... here, 10 meters, and your car is full of shit ;) Cooler climate you know ;)

ive also been thinking of picking a cover up but for winter storage.

http://www.carcoverworld.com/ has a large selection and several that are cut specifically for the supra. theyre descriptions are good too and its obvious that most of the cheapies are not water proof but the more expensive ones are.
