Anyone got a CAD file of the front hub?

You have no idea... this is my first foray into CAD - I'm amazed at what this thing can do! After I finish the 2D drawings, I want to see if I can make them 3D :)

I'll have a WIP pic up after dinner ;)

Let's see if this works... sorry about the bracket itself - I can't seem to get Qcad to hatch it!

I can take a basic part from an idea to a finished piece in about 20 minutes :)

Yeah, well, screw you :D This is my first time trying it out - took me a LOT longer than 20 minutes, but it's a hell of a lot of fun ;) I'm going to take measurements of the brake pads next, and put them in, so I can make sure I have a good contact patch. Then I get to go 3D, and design the bracket adapter ;)

I come from a land down under
LOL before I built my CNC I had NEVER touched a CAD program :D

The way I work while it may not be the correct way I get the results I want/need and Inv8 suits this.

I tried AutoCad and found it far too structured and that they assume you actually have a clue!

I rarely render or make full models these days as I can visualise what the part will look like in my head and from the DXF, without some way to make the part reality it's just pretty pictures.

I almost never make 3D parts as the code ends up HUGE and slow and prefer 2.5d (2d with a Z measurement for depth)

are there many people on here with 2 or 3D CAD drawings of their MK3 parts? Maybe there could be a section where people can post and share their drawings?
