That would be epic win. 1000+HP 7M in a MKIV would piss a lot of people off, it would be great at the major supra events because they wouldn't know what class to put you in

I've seen a video before on youtube around a year ago of one.

The only reason I could see putting a 7M in a MKIV is if you had a 2JZGE in it, but I'd rather go NA-T personally....

You have to excuse me, I personally hate 7m's and don't see why you'd put one in. It'd be better to do an lsx swap. The 7m mkiv would look good on jackstands though lol This is why I don't run one. No offense on anyone who does, just my choice.

Exactly my thought too...the 2J is a great motor and belongs in the MK IV. There is zero reason to do a ton of work to go backward in time.

I just don't think they're reliable. I've seen several people, locally as well as on the boards, that have them crap out even when they invest the proper time and money into them. This doesn't count for ALL of them, but its just a can of worms which I chose not to venture into. I found the right time where I could get my car and engine at the same, so no questions asked.

I don't mean to knock the engines when they're done right, but I don't think they're a gift from God either. I know I can get into my car, run the piss out of it on the strip, play in the twisties, then take a weekend trip in it and it'll be ok. For me, that was a JZ no questions asked, but I'm not everyone else.

You're right, it is just your choice, so please stop spouting your opinion like it is a god given fact.

As for the idea of a 7M MKIV nice idea, but I personally wouldn't spend my own time, money and enegry on making something solely to piss MKIV/JZ guys off - In my opinion that makes you no better than a "No 7M Zone" nutswinger .
