know, I'm just bullshittin'....mostly. My girlfriend's parents are stationed at McGuire AFB and that area is pretty nice. Like I said, mostly farmland.

so are the cranberries and blueberries.

I have noticed a lot of blueberry/cranberry bushes around there. We even checked out a winery called Cream Ridge. Damn that's some of the best wine I've ever had.

Heh nah it's all good man... my roommate at school is from PA and he doesn't quit about how much Jersey sucks and this and that, I'm used to it :p My friend's ex-gf lives near McGuire, went to a few parties down there. I love that area, and the pine barrens and whatnot. My sister's wedding was at a vineyard, some awesome homemade stuff.

jersey sux! i live in pa so its programed into me.....actualy i picked my supra in jersey, best thing to come out of that state....lol

im about to take a 1200 mile trip from right outside philadelphia all the way down to branson missouri. then back. i was lookin forward to the road trip, but its seriously looking like im going to be bored out of my mind. im driving alone for 2 days each way, yea, ill be bored. at least my cdplayer is working great......gonna toss an mp3 cd in it and i wont stop driving till its over. well, minus gas and bathroom breaks.

im leaving monday night/tuesday morning if all goes well. dropped my car off at my mechanic and had them do some work for me, i really dont feel like having my car towed. gotta wait till the parts supplier sends them the right gasket, apparently the sent the wrong one.....i was supposed to have my car back today...

anyway, the trip didnt seem so bad untill i realized i was gonna be driving all on my own, bored outa my skull. my original plan was to go to missouri, then possibly to south dakota, then to washington, over to iowa, down to florida and then back to pennsylvania. thats only like 9k miles.....not happening till i get a copilot that can drive stick....

i used to travel with the family from Western WY to Western NY every summer to see my dad, just hit I-80 all the way to Cleveland and then I-90..it took us all of 4 trips to realize that flying is just the way to do it.

I plan on driving out this summer though, the worst part for me is Nebraska, which IIRC takes up a good 400-500 miles of the 1700 mile trip and is nothing but strait flat roads with no change in scenery...I feel for you guys who say "long and boring"!

did a 3 day trip with my family once, when we moved from south dakota to pennsylvania. imagine im 14 at that point, and am traped in a minivan for 3 whole days with my younger brother and sister and mom and grandma.

after looking back on that, driving alone wont be that bad.....

LOL

that's my philosophy, only minus a younger brother for those trips and make them twice a year for 4 years...believe me I feel your pain!

I went from Florida to Wyoming in 24 hours, then from Wyoming to SoCal in 16. It gets REALLY boring in places like Kansas and Oklahoma, and Texas, too.
