Anyone else get paid irregularly?

I get paid every night cash in hand. I am a independent contractor tattoo artist ( bodygraphicstattoos.com, check it out some time). It's good and bad, you realy have to save and not get caught up in the hole "easy come easy go" thing,

Yeah, never had to use any software to budget my money.
Only have 3-4 bills, and no credit card debt.

I can imagine it could be helpful if you have tons of things to manage.

My company is a little odd. Depending on your job code depends if you are salaried or hourly and then there are further break downs but it amouts to getting paid once a month, biweekly(what I have), 1st and 15th, or 15th and last working day of the month. It's odd but everyone seems happy with it

i get paid every other thursday. some times i get three checks a month...woo hoo!!
