NA cams are not going to change too much, maybe a couple horsepower in the midrange. Talk to Suprarich, he has some regrind cams with make up shims that will make a much bigger difference.

Not often. Although the wifes 2000 GT pulls up 5800 pretty well. My 90 GT's fastest times were with a shift just over 5k. Supra owners want to joke about truck engines with 7M's, the 5.0 Mustang head was lifted directly from the 85 302 F150.
