I need a micrometer to borrow so I can measure my bucket shims. I'm in northern Washington, so anywhere between Everett and Canada would be ideal. I don't need it for long. Please give me a call or text me ASAP. Thank you.

Matt (HighNitro), I get what my Supra needs, but I'm on a fixed income and for something like a micrometer I'd rather borrow the tool than buy it right now.

Matt (Mattsplat72), check your PM's. I'll call you tomorrow.

I'd rather borrow a decent one than buy a cheapie that I can't trust...

(I'm assuming NAPA or another mechanic would have a much nicer one than harbor freight...)

I've been meaning to pick up a micrometer myself, but damn they can be pricey for a tool I will use but once every other year...

The one I borrowed was very nice, top quality. In my house we have a rule. If you need it once borrow it, if you need it 3 times, buy it. No reason for me to buy a micrometer right now since God only knows when the next time I'd use it would be.

I see nothing wrong with barrowing anything if it is need to get the job done the correct way. If you have resources might as well use them.

If he would have went to Harbor Freight and bought one of the "china c-clamps" it would have been a waste of time and money since is wouldn't have been calibrated anyways. Plus it would have probably only read down to .001" witch is a waste for a micrometer.
