My brother has bought a 1995 C5 corvette with the LT-1 motor in it. He is wondering what he could do to make it faster before I get my car running and spank his green corvettes ass. I told him to find a corvette mania and ask them. Do any of you guys know about american muscle cars? Can he just add bigger injectors and maybe a bigger cam? I don't really know. That's why I thought I would post it here. Any suggestions will be handed to him. I want him to have his car as fast as he can make it before I race him.............lol

c4 not c5, headers, catback, filter would be a good start. Heads and cam after that. Then maybe one of those whiny superchargers?
si, c5's have ls1's in them , but Intake, header, and exaust is the best place to start.kwnate said:
There is a company in Houston Texas called Horsepower Engineering. Just type that in Yahoo or Google and you'll find their URL. They've built some of the baddest street driven GM's and Ford's I've seen yet. They have a few power packages for LT1's. You could also just go buy a Summit or JEGS catalog and find a shitload of parts for your C4 in there as well.
Thanks guys. I don't know why I put C5, I knew it was a C4. I think the only reason I typed that is I watched a bunch of races on streetfire last night. I watched a bunch of c5's and c6's racing.

From a 30-40 mph kick, her car stays even up until about 80 and then he starts pulling on her pretty hard. I've raced him twice and hers just won't hang. I've got to order her a 255 fp, and then I'm going to install my 550's , lexus afm, my intercooler, 2.5" pipes, and maybe even my Garrett t04e. It should be a better race then. I'll keep you posted.

There was a Titan motorsports Supra there. 2 step, slicks, showed up, broke two axles, and went home....

Hero helping your brother with go faster mods is not going to help you win!!! You need to get him some go slower mods. Mabey tell him the Lt-1 is his whole problem and that the old school carb chevy 305 will get him more power that he could ever dream of.........................lol :evil2:
I have no fears. My 1jz is going to smoke him from a roll. I outran my wife's car alot worse than he did. I know I don't have the 7m anymore, but this will be like Steve Austin after surgery.....................:biglaugh:
headers/ exhaust /heads / cam/ 150 shot.. should be a quick car then.. and a coil pack conversion.. opti-spark is the devil!
intake, header back setup, cam, injectors and a good supercharger and he may just run you down, although it will be $$$$$ for him to do it all well especially if he doesn't do the work.
then theres always the crate option a good GM 572 or even more entertaining the 366ci Twin Turbo Banks crate motor 850 on 93 and 1200 on 100 octane. WOOT WOOT
