your only chance is from a dig since the turbo pt/neon's have trouble hooking from a stop.

this is off my cell phone. it's a built motor, upgraded twins, AWD 993 Porsche. it pulls on my buddy in his bpu mk4 on low boost.

i have a bunch more videos of the same mk4 racing the guy in the 993's other cars, including his modded GT2. (which the mk4 took on high boost) however, it's all cell phone vids at night at 60-150mph, so horrible quality.

also, talking about porsches, this is from our dyno day about 3-4 years ago. it's sharky's famous 996 blowing its front differential on the AWD dyno.

i have to say i beg to differ. we took my wifes 96 camry to the strip one night and she raced this guy in a turbo pt 3 times. the y were running the 1/8th mile track. and my wifes camry ran a 10.8-10.9 every time and she only got beat by him once by about 2/10ths of a second all the other times she won. so either he couldnt drive or his turbo pt was shit lol. i think any supra could spank one of those things. and arent they alot heavier than the srt?

Let me just say this - 944 Turbo = FAST CAR (once you get the chip) lol yeah I love that little side note too - you would think chipping it wouldn't do much, but truth is, those cars end up being a lot faster than the 911's The torque from their engine is unreal matched up with their 50/50 weight ratio. I used to have a 944 NA... and it would stomp on anything to 60, and my good friend has a 944 Turbo in mint condition, I installed the chip in it for him and WOW, what a difference. It would normally top out at 135, but with the chip it deactivated the rev limiter and the top speed.... after I put the chip in, it climbs all the way up to 170, and gets there a hell of a lot faster.

I really looked into this even more after I had done it, my electronics teacher I had just this last session in college used to work on nothing but Porsches before he became a teacher, and I asked him specifically about the 944, and he has driven just about every Porsche you could think of, and he claims the 944 Turbo to be the fastest when you have the computer tricked out. He had told me that Porsche couldn't allow for the computers to run the engines all the way up out of factory - they would have competed with the 911's too well.

I personally love the 944... its a wonderfully handling car... but I also love my Supra... no telling what would come out to be the victor between a fully modded Supra and a 944 Turbo

But more to the point... 944 is a PORSCHE

You should so post a picture of it... its really good to hear that you have some confidence in your ride too - that is the way to be.
