So i just drove the 88 N/A ive been lookin at and boy does she shine. Painted earlier this summer with the original METALLIC red color. It looked old in the pics but shit, it looked good in person.

BUT... the thing was not in its prime on the INTERIOR. Climate control as always on these was peeling its stickers, the center console functions(ie, lumbar) were functioning but not good to look at. As a whole it was fine, but nothing special.

The ENGINE...
Looked great except it definately needs a new valve cover gasket, but the guys putting that in soon (hes already bought it). New clutch, it felt tight, really good. :biglaugh:

SO MY CONCERNS....
This thing had hardly any pickup. It was not slow, but it wasnt anything special. Im ok with that, as long as nothings wrong with the engine. I can give it a good tune up.

And how much does all that little interior stuff run? anyone have any similar issues replacing little things on the inside?
its a NA so it wont have any pickup
but seruoisly looks hella tight. there are universale pieces for seals on thsoe things i believe. the car looks gorgeous and interior pieces are usally easy to find because everyone has stuff they dont want/neeed and like 2 parts cars anyway :biglaugh:
buy it and join up with us. Oh check the wheel wells for a line which causes rust. if you can see the line get that taken care of...

As for the peeling CC buttons, swap in a 89+ climate control and never worry about peeling buttons again... plus they generally look better.

Interior parts can be found in the FS section here and many parts are still available from the dealer.

EDIT: as for the lack of power, you can drive mine and decide from there... I've got the beginnings of a BHG and a AFM that needs replaced ASAP. SO, if mine feels slower then that one's probably in good shape! lol

I would get the compression checked out if you are going to have one thing looked at. It will help you avoid a lot of possible problems that you could be getting yourself into.

The non turbo supras still should have a pretty good kick and some get up and go.
