I'm gonna do some glassing in mine too, but I'm undecided as to whether to glass the area from the front of the targa holders up to the back of the front seats, or if I want to glass in the sides of the hatch (around the wheel-wells). False floor setup with a fiberglassed bottom (to conform to the shape of the bottom of the trunk) is another idea though. I dunno, because I want to go with an eclipse sw9122. They look alot like a JL 13w7 :icon_razz

EDIT:
THIS SUB
powered by
THIS AMP

All-in-all, I'll have $500 into the sub/amp combo :p Working at circuit city has it's perks :D

Also, I've got a set of these speakers custom worked into the stock pods, which will be powered by this amp. Should sound insane :)

EDIT #2:This head unit also :)

only an 8, but posted it once or twice before. Might give you another idea or 2. The amp is mounted to the seat back, and has a carpeted frame with fans for cooling (the 2 black circles). I should get soem newer pics...I've got a relocated battery box back there now with a new false floor, to show there is room to keep everything and still look fairly stock. Even able to get a duffle bag or so in, and the targa fits.

I did the pretty much the same thing that Jeff Lange did and I also bought the same sb that born2drv has, a shallow mount pioneer 12" sub and mounted it in the spare tire well above the tire (I turned my tire upside down for a little more space). I can still fit the top in there now.

Oh, and Chad, I have a spare blue rear carpet and wood for back there also if you are looking for those now.

Find a smaller amp and throw that under the wooden floor next to the spare tire. You can fit in two amps if you position them right. Or get a weaksauce bazooka or a really shallow box and sub.

Come to the BAS thanksgiving BBQ sponsored by Bert's House of Dubs and you'll find some examples.
