Normally I look at cruisers with a "meh" attitude, but that is quite nice looking...

Thanks, it's a naked Victory Kingpin Premium. All the bags and screen and junk are hidden in the garage until the Trail of Tears ride next month. ;)

I would say leave them in favor of a full face helmet and backpack myself...

And on that thought, do you think anyone will be riding an Indian on that trip?

I use the face shield and pack in town here, rather have the bags for a weekend trip and the screen isnt for the bugs, just wears me out to go cross country doing a perpetual sit-up against the wind. LOL.

As for peeps riding Indians... Ima pass on that one. No answer I could muster would be as good as the question is. ;)

That makes sense, I hadn't thought about fighting the wind like that. Glad you enjoyed the joke, horrible as it makes a guy feel. :p

Should be picking up an all black 2008 Gixxer 600cc with 2900 miles soon, sexiest factory jap bike in my opinion. Just waiting for him to get the title then I'm throwing money at him.

Had this bike since Jan of 1995. It is actually a 94 but I painted it the earlier 93 paint scheme.

Very nice CBR. Always loved the sportbikes of the late 80's/ early 90's with the double round headlights. One of these days I'll pick up a nice late 80's slabbie GSX-R and slide a Bandit 1200 running gear in.

Careful there... buddy of mine found out the hard way what that costs if Johnny Law happens to notice you doing that. $800 something later... and a year or so worth of probation... :nono:

Thanks. Since I am an old timer, double round headlights are a must for me! Can I talk you into to buying an FZR 1000 of the era you mentioned. Yamaha was the first to have a liter sized superbike, now each company's flagship bike is a liter sized superbike. Before the CBR 900RR came out, the king was an FZR 1000.

Yeah the torque is insane...little heavy for any serious off road but it's fun hopping sidewalks etc lol;-)

When your in any kind of looser terrain the front will dig into the ground like a tractor plow. Be warned

Just trimmed my vintage fleet from 5 to 3. I think I'll stick with that for now.

Eh, bad choice of trying to run from a cop that decided to pull him over for something silly, then getting scared and stopping. Probably could have gotten away with it, but survival instinct kicked in.

Love this thing!
Dual sport? Those seem like they would be fun when road conditions aren't always ideal.

That's just trying to tell you you need more throttle to keep the front a bit lighter. :p
