Mmmm, Christmas. Time to hit the bars trolling for depressed single hotties that are to drunk to care who, as long as someone, is willing to spend quality time with them.

Nah, j/k. I enjoy Christmas. I like seeing that feverish light of greed and lust in the eyes of my nephews as they look upon those big, intricately wrapped boxes. This year they contain one hot wheel each. Boxes are 2' by 2', and filled with styrofom peanuts. My sister hates me. :evil2: :biglaugh:

If and when any of you have kids............Christmas will be awesome. I love watching the girls opening presents. I also love the family get togethers with all of my nephews and nieces. (I know I may have lost my man card again, but I'll get it back by posting porn later)

JAV.........you know I love me some bacon.

I like christmas but I hate people. I hate the idea of people plowing through stores buying junk they dont need/want just 'because'. I hate getting gifts I know I wont use because I feel guilty the person wasted money.

I enjoy seeing houses decorated and all that but dont understand a 6foot tall glowing baby jesus? If you want to keep christmas religious dont cheapen it with plastic glowing babies.

I hate the traffic, people act like they arent allowed to be 1 minute late to a family dinner. They are willing to drive like maniacs risking the lives of their kids in the back seat to save that 5 seconds.

Or, the people in stores who are yelling because theres no 'good' toys left. Well if you dont wait until christmas eve to do your shopping youd have no problems.

Christmas always cracks me up. Especially with all the religious zealots in my area. Newsflash: Jesus wasn't born on December 25th! Bastards incorporated Yule to help convert the pagans way back in the day.

Oh well - I look at it as a time to get together with the family. Of course, they are all too busy bickering, but whatever. :3d_frown:

Not really a newsflash since nobody actually known when he was born, so they had to pick a day to honor him.

A story I heard the other day........................

So, there was a woman who with her three children in tow went out to finish her Christmas shopping, on Christmas eve. They bustled through the stores , children miss behaving, crowds were horrible, and nothing seemed to go according to plan. All her packages in her arms, children around her feet she headed to the elevator, that was already full. Determined to make this elevator ride, she squeezed her self, her packages and her children into the elevator. As she turned and the doors closed she let out a sigh of furstration and said, " Who ever started this should be shot and strung up.". Then from the back of the elevator a voice said, "Don't worry about that miss they have already crucified him".

For some of us Christmas is a time to reflect on the most beautiful, unselfish, loving, and perfect gift ever given. No, he may not have been born on this day, but this day I will honor him by remembering the gift that he is.

Christmas, if nothing else, is a day that you can take time to tell someone that you love them, give a gift to somone who doesn't expect it, or may not even feel that they deserve it.

"Do not be afraid, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."
Luke 2:10-12

That could be a good point, but do they have tax time on the 15th of April?

I don't "Hate" Christmas, but I do not partake in any of its "enjoyments". It is a holiday to instill debt, depression and death among the world...

More people die during the Winter season from suicide then any other time of the year (and yes, I know a large portion of that has to do with lack of sun light (Vitamin C I believe or B... ) but the thing is... it is frustrating and annoying...

What I want for christmas...

Want someone to buy me the $1500 worth of parts I need to get my turbo running on my maxima

a 42" HD TV...

a New Top of the Line PC...

An entire Tool set...

A new car...

simply, I am listing objects that cost way too much money for anyone to spend on me... and with that point, when people ask what I want, the answer is nothing, because no one has the money nor is willing to put the money towards the presents I do want.

That is why I wish to not celebrate, everyone wants something that is way too much $$$ to have someone buy for them, unless of course they are a lot better off then myself.

I think it is a complete season of corp. greed, and do not take part, I did not purchase a SINGLE present this year for anyone, not a single one...

and in return I got $100 here and there. People call me selfish, but the simple fact of the matter is, I am 20 years old, barely have enough money to make it till my next paycheck, I honestly am not going to spend my money on those who are either
A. in the same situation and just waiting to for next weeks paycheck

or

B. Those that raised me or watched me grow up, and can easily buy themselves anything that I can afford to get them...

my 2 cents

I love Christmas, its a time where my parents and I go to vermont and ski, kick back and relax. I hate the 2 months of songs and what this holiday has become.
