Did it improve reception?

I was considering a 4' long FireStik, just for the fact I'd also get pretty good CB reception and are planning on adding a CB radio soon as well. But it looks kinda 'lol'. I don't want to lose reception, I definitely want the ability to lock into more HD stations... that's why I replaced the awesome factory HU with my JVC KD-HDR50. D:

Receptions is awesome, I am currently using it with HD stations. I like it for the fact that it properly seals the hole with no modification. I noticed they have a new model that is twice the amount, the Fuba Betaflex-D, with a little longer and skinny stem 18" versus 7".

Last I knew they didn't still have the NA/pre-89 style anymore. Could be wrong but I know several locals got new antennas and they were all the extended type for the 3 piece wing.

If you have a working factory antenna, then order a replacement mast from Toyota. There should be no other option.

The mast isnt that much and is easy to replace.

I removed my Antennae, Wiring, the plastic pieces that retain it And Filled the hole and painted it to prevent Slight leaks. But then again I had a stereo/speaker/rear setup removal done so It was only one of a series of removals that I was performing for race conversion. Plus I always thought the stock made my Sup look like It was an actual Sized RC car. Just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents as a possibilty if you were ever going to do a rear setup removal or Auto X. :biglaugh:
