If someone can tell me or take a picture of the 86.5 theft deterent ecu I will paypal you $4, yes that is right $4(all I have in my paypal account) I will need to confirm that it works first. It may b the same wiring order as other years but I know my 89 is different. Thanks

There are 2 different boxes on the early models. One connector has an 'L' shape to it and doesnt have the wiring monitoring the passenger door lock. THe other connector is a straight connector with the wiring for the passenger door.

Unit is actually mounted to the braket the steering column mounts to. Close to the firewall on the throttle side.

Yeh. My plug (89, which doesn't fit the 86.5 ecu I have) Is straight plug and has 12 pins. The 86.5 ecu I have is also 12 pin and a straight plug. The plugs are a liittle diferent but I could make it fit. Just don't know the order
