I purchased a ssqv and wanted to know what I need to do to the factory one. I've heard of putting freeze plugs in but where would they go?? Also, where does everyone else have their ssqv installed at on their piping? Looking at putting mine after the throttle body.

it doesnt really matter what you do to the stocker, if you have the ssqv properly adjusted, the stock bov shouldnt do anything anyway.

IIRC the best place to mount a bov is as close to the throttle body as possible for performance reasons.

it might be good idea to explain how to adjust the ssqv

Mine is a non-adjustable one.

So, to adjust it, I simply opened up the SSQV, compressed the spring slightly in a pair of vise grips, then heated it up with my torch until it got red hot. Then I let it cool, and there you go, less spring tension.

If I wanetd MORE spring tension, I could stretch it slightly and heat it up.

These days, the spring has been removed completely. It's REALLY sensitive now, but it's the only way I can manage to get the GT40 to stop surging with a single wastegate.
