Sorry for bringing this issue up again im just in need of some major help.
I have an 87 supra with the 7-MGTE engine in it. when i bought the car everything was fine, never had a problem out of it. here recently the car has been acting up, dying out of nowhere then cranking over but not starting at all. after a few minutes of fiddling with wires (the CPS and coil packs and others) it would eventually start back up and run fine for a day or two if im lucky. Well it finally stopped and now its not starting at all. will turn over but no start. Tested fuel pressure; excellent, texted compression, fine. tested spark next. it seemed as though two coil packs werent sparking but one was so i bought all new coil packs. When i put the on my car and hooked everything up, made sure grounds were good, and tested those coil packs im not getting spark at all.
I have power to the coil packs themselves, i have good Ohm readings coming from the CPS also. also made sure all connectors going to ECU were in nice and snug. The only thing i havent done is checked the igniter(not even sure how to) or hardwired the CPS, which i think im going to do in the morning. i have no idea what else i should check, all i know is the coil packs arent getting the signal to spark the plugs they just have power going to them. i have also checked all fuses. Any help will be greatly appreaciated. very very sick of this problem :3d_frown:

check the efi main relay. it's the round one in the fuse box under the hood. my car was doing the same thing. it was getting worse and worse till it finally went bad.

And if your tach needle moves when cranking then your igniter works
