Check this thing out. I'm really not sure what to think right away. It IS a FFIM but it seems thrown together to me. Need to clean up the flange plates for sure. Also, look at the way the plenum is a just a tube but they have squished it into an oval for the taper. Its made of ten pounds of steel, keeps the IAC but looses the cold start injector.

This is not an auction, they want feed back on it to make it better I guess before they start to sell. For $600 + shipping I guess it will at the least be a good start for a very low end FFIM swap.
Comments, Thoughts.

Call me crazy but that thing looks like it might actually be more restrictive than the factory unit. Made with steel for added durability??? guys the head is made out of alluminum, as well as the factory intake runner, i think its strong enough....not to mention its overpriced. much better units available here.

tho engineering = FAIL

EDIT: when this thread is done, someone should email the link to this thread to them. I would do it, but someone else should too because I will probably forget. They asked for feedback, noone said they would like it.

Doesn't look big enough to flow the amount of fail that FFIM (Full Fail Intake Monstrosity) is capable of Jeff!

No no, the fail flange is for the overfail valve, that releases the excess fail. Its part of the FFC (fail fuel conversion) He actually converted the engine to run off of fail. I wont be surprised if we hear alot more about this, I'm told its far more efficient than fossil fuels, and all you need is a complete moron to power it.

Explains why it's been developed for the Mk3 community we have some to spare ;)

Just a few thoughts.

You may want to consider that the R&D for our cars save a few vendors we see and hear from on SupraMania is almost non exsistent.

I agree with most of the points made so far, however all the listing asked for was legit feedback. If you are so inclined to do so it may actually help bring an alternative to the FFIM market.

By the looks of it that may be a real stretch, but at least take the same time you took to bash it to respond to the sellers request if you so choose.

In a nutshell. We are driving 23 to 17 yr old cars. Believe it or not this community needs individuals like that in order to survive and yes get better.

I would question the way they are going about feedback, not that eBay is not one avenue. It would have made more sense to take it to communities like ours.

This attempt may fail, but if enough legit feedback is given perhaps a different product or effort will be undertaken, ya never know.

You are aware of the FFIM that Greg from LIPP has made correct?

Its a fully custom designed cast unit, with pretty much every feature a person could ever want for a FFIM. Not only that but it has the high quality feature with thousands of dollars worth of tooling into, and hundreds of hours on the R&D.

Just saying the aftermarket is there just takes time and lots of money.

All I see there is a half assed badly executed PoS being made by someone that's looking to make a quick $ using inappropriate cheap materials.... :nono:
(sheetmetal my arse it's "MufflerMoly" ie: cheap exhaust pipe)

I mean seriously "Solid or Poly mounts only" WTF it's not like it's hard to provide 10mm clearance for engine rock on stock mounts.

I'm gonna have to 100% agree with ij! If this person actually cared about his craftsmenship then it would look so bad....it's made from steel "great now after some heat a moisture make it into the intake I'll be sucking rust into my cylinders"....it's a horrid product made at the cheapest bid and is tossed together with little thought! It's obvious who made this is some kid with no experience!

Legit products get legit feedback. This guy made zero effort in R&D. 5 minutes searching around on the internet and he could have come up with a better design. Bad design, wrong materials, and i'll bet he miged it and the welds are sloppy as shit with wire and slag inside the manifold. This guy could give me his POS along with the motor mounts he says it needs, and I still would much rather run my stocker. The stocker may not be the greatest manifold, but at least toyota knows what R&D means.

This guy failed epicly and someone has to let him know. You know what happens when noone tells someone theyre failing epicly? They end up on the american idol casting show.
