Got some more work done this past break. Mounted the intercooler and cut a nice chuck out of the bash bar for air flow. Just need to get a newer nicer bumper next. Got piping and a greddy bov coming in the mail now.

Hey Danny, thanks for buy some of my crap :D. That's one clean chassis, and I'm jealous of getting to work on in a nice garage like that. Glad to see some more MK3's reppin WI since most of us are gone.

Also, willing to bet you like it more than you 5.0 still, at least over all.

Ha no problem buddy. It nice to some some supra guys locally. I am still tempted to buy that rep turbo a duct from you since i cut a nice big chunk out of the front bumper support. I believe i will but only after i get it running and it isnt just a big paper weight.

Updates!

Note many since i haven't been out to the shop lately. Still sourcing the last few parts needed to actually drop the motor in. I bought a brand new Greddy type fv bov. Looks pretty cool. It is relatively new so i figured i would try it out. I received some stock usdm 550 injectors that i will drop in. Got some 3in intercooler piping only because i will be swapping those twin ceramics out soon after the car is running. My harness is currently being modified to plug right in. Main thing i am waiting for are stock 1jz mounts so i cant actually drop the motor in. Currently in UPS's hands. Also got a wide band coming. Got it pretty cheap and it comes with a new sensor. Still debating on what single turbo and stand alone setup i will be running. That is about all i can think of right now. Sorry no picture updates. The time is near though...

Again sorry for long this has been taking but another update! Since the last post I have finally acquired everything for the swap. Still waiting on my harness though. Should be here within the next week. Then the motor will finally be dropped in. Got new poly bushings all around from SupraofDoom. Halfway done putting those in.

She is coming around slowly. BUT another update not relating to my white supra. Another supra went up for sale 5 minutes from my shop. Nice blue 1987 mkiii supra w/ a 1jz swap. I couldn't pass it up so I quickly swiped at it.

Now I have finally driven a supra. Let alone a 1j supra. It has an eBay turbo kit on it with I believe a replican gt30r turbo. She is burning a little oil so I picked up another turbo yesterday. It is a hx40 with beefier internals. It has a unique gold coloring to which I don't mind.

Everything with the white car has been slow lately to overwhelming work hours. Even though I have another supra now I still cannot wait for the white one to be done. Hopefully I'll have another update soon!

Oh! And I almost forgot there was a Dyno day near my ship that I attended. Brought the blue supra and did some pulls. Only things I changed since buying it are a new greedy fv bov and the driftmotion exhaust that I had from the other car. Car is bottle necked by the stock injectors, stock ecu, and fuel pump. It is running 14psi just before fuel cut. Here is a video my friend took.

Got some more work done on the white supra today. Finished up all the front bushings. First side was a pain. Second side was a breeze. Much easier after doing it once! Also got the front mocked up for some new brakes and calipers. Just have the rotors so far but they look nice! Going with the merc brake conversion.

Will do! The car is originally from Texas. The owner two before me put an aftermarket sunroom in it even though it came with one.... The guy I bought it from brought it from did the 1jz swap and put the oem sunroof back it. Has some cracks near the sunroof because of bondo. I don't mind though. Still a pretty car.

Been a while since I last posted. Almost finally ready to put the subframe back in. Got some bushing from ronniek. It is currently being reinforced right now. Found some arms locally for cheap so I got them. Also bought another roller. 300 bucks. Couldn't pass the deal up. Been slow lately working on it. Soon though!

After the subframe is out it literally took five minUtes. The design of the stock bushings made them super easy to hammer out. Dropping my subframe took less than an hour.

Another Update! Just got my sub frame back from being reinforced from my friend. 11g steel plates and 0.12 DOM tubing. Got ideas from multiple pictures on these forums. What do you think?

Also i am nearly finished with my Mercedes and Evo caliper conversion. They have just been power coated. I just need to finish assembling them.

IMG_0363.jpg

The engine should be going in soon. I am waiting on a R154 crossmember.

Well like i said progress has been slow and i blame it on these.

I found These two All-tracs locally for sale cheap. The white car has a blown motor and zero interior. The red car has a good motor and really nice interior. Currently i have swapped over the interior and took the motor out of the red one. The red car will have to be scraped (sadly). The front end damage on it is too severe. Currently selling every part i can from it before junking it. Not sure if i will keep the white one when i am done or sell it. We will see. I think i have a problem guys.

More updates to come soon!
