He's asking you if you tore the bottom of the motor apart to check your bearings. Some people don't do it, but it's just so easy to do it while you already have it out of the car. I put new rings and bearings in my 1jz before I installed it. Hopefully you won't have any problems once you get it ready to start. Good luck.

I thought that's what he meant, makes sense now. I did not open it though, Im taking a huge chance but I didn't replace valve seals and rebuilt the head either if you know what I mean. I guess once you buy one of these from any importer you are gonna take a chance anyway. I'm just hoping for the best.

I did, however,changed cam seals, timing belt tensioner and roller, new timing belt, front and rear main seals, valve cover gaskets and grommets and plugs, the coils looked ok.

B)I'm broke so taking a chance is a route I have no choice but to take
c)It's just gonna be all show no go. I'm not planning on braking any world records
with this thing. Just gonna run 7-10 psi as a reliable DD with ac.

Also, from what I have read about these engines as long as it starts and no major problems it should be able to handle that level
of boost. If not, refer to answer A. lol!

Are you using some kind of form of engine management, injectors, afpr, ect. ?

Ok so......I finally sent out my harnesses to get them done (I wish I didn't suck at it). Now the worst part of this whole build........Waiting!

Ok so I've been driving the car for about 3 months now with no major issues. I am using the ac compressor the swap came with and have had no issues with it (it is very nice and cold) the only other problems I've had is the alternator which I upgraded to a 100amp and the crackshaft damper which took off down the road while I was taking off at a light.

Other than that no complaints, I am actually looking for a safc, a set of usdm cams and a set of usdm 550cc injectors. If anybody knows of any of these for sale please text or call me at 727-688-1331.
