Hello all, I have had this car for approximately 7 years and did not have anything performance wise done to it with the exception of the exhaust and a crappy HKS filter. I decided after all these years to finally get something done to it so I decided to go 2jzgte and here are a few pics of the build. It is almost done, all I need is my engine harness completed to get this thing going.

looks badass my man! im soo tempted to do a 2j swap into my ride but i just cant convince the wife that i need to put in another motor and spend more money :)

A buddy and I are doing it at his shop. He owns a machine shop though not an automotive machine shop, he does this stuff on the side.

I know exactly what you mean, my wife kind of doesn't really wanna know but she is also into it so it helps.

As of right now, I can't wait to get this thing started, hopefully there won't be rod knock noise or some crap like that! You never know with these imported engines. Anyway, I am waiting on my engine harness to be completed.

Secondly, I just realized that I need an oil dipstick and purchased one for a mkIV thinking it would work and as I'm sure most of you guys know it doesn't sit there right. It is too short and it doesn't reach the intake. Soooooooooooo I don't know if I should just use it and make it work or if you guys know what I need to get I would appreciate any help you could give me.

Oh! I also have a question regarding the factory o2. What o2 sensor should I get, I had my buddy weld a threaded o2 bung on my downpipe but the o2 I got has a flange with 2 bolts. How many wires does the correct o2 has and can I use a universal o2 with the correct amount of wires.

Sorry to bombard you guys but I guess I got so excited about copmpleting the swap all these little details are now creeping up on me.

Custom 3" from turbo using an 3" inlet 5" outlet Apexi muffler. Its kinda big bought it used for a good deal a few years ago and its still in good shape so I kept it for the swap.
