Stepping up to the 550cc injector lex afm combo I see. Are you going to swap out to a different air box or make a CAI?

i was thinking i'd put my 550s in after i got the car started back up and on the road.. i have the lex afm on there and was just running a pretty rich map on the safcII.. and my afr was good.. now that its going back in i have all braided lines and a walbro and bypassed fuel pressure dampener .. do you think i need the 550's if im not really looking to make a lot of power? on a 1-10 scale how necessary do you think they are?

A few people have tuned lex & 440 stockers. But without having the stockers flowtested, I wouldn't chance the melted piston. I would have it at a 7-8 range. As with anything else, its the tune that will make or break you.
