I'm gonna be hitting around 400hp soon. I've already got all the parts needed for that to be relatively reliable. I've also got a brand new stock clutch and PP along with bearings from toyota. Will this clutch crap out on me? or will i have to go with a different disk? I understand some SPEC kits use stock PP's so i assume the disk is what holds the tq.

I could be wrong but all clutch kits use a modified Toyota pressure plate. They are made stronger and stiffer. Your correct the disk if mainly what holds the torque but another thing that comes into play is the clamping force of the pressure plate.

It would be a good idea to upgrade the disk.
I don't like doing clutch jobs, so I went ahead and got a performance clutch the first time around.
