i have a project car just did the headgasket started it up and its dumping white smoke. milkshake is dripping out from the oil pan and lots of coolant in the oil. anything else that can do this? i just did a compression check and all cylenders were an even 150

BHG man, sorry.

Did you mill the head? What HG did you use? what head bolts?

yeah the head was pressure tested and resurfaced and checked to make sure it wasn't warped. i used a stock headgasket and torqued it to 80 with arp bolts. i've done a few headgasket jobs and never had a problem like this, maybe the head was warped and they didn't realize it?

I would think, to be honest I dont know exactly. Unless your block is cracked. Do you hear the waterfall noise? I heard thats common with a BHG.

Did they test the head to make sure it was flat 100%?

no waterfall noise. not sure what they did to test it i just asked them to make sure to pressure test it and make sure it wasn't warped and they came back and said it was good

could be torqued too much, I thought it was 72 for the stock hg, it was NEW right? Sorry to ask but Im just checking all points. Youre gonna have to pull the head and check the gasket to make sure it didnt crack or anything from the install.

Could it not just be the extra coolant/oil mix that didn't fully empty from your first bhg? You may not have removed it all, so now it just mixed with the fresh oil and looks like a bhg. Did you even try to flush it well, and then put more oil in? If your compression is solid, I would give it a try.

I would have suggested that but an oil change is obviously one of the first things you do. Even if it all didnt fully drain, the amount wouldnt be noticeable mixed with the new oil i dont think. Can't hurt to try though, good luck man.
