good luck. If you want while the old engine is out and everything else looks good you can do a MILD rebuild. Rehone the cylinders, rering the pistons, get a new oil pump, and a toyota full engine gasket kit. Then you could also get the block surface super smooth for the MHG.

while ur driving with the jdm that is

Soulds like a good idea i was kind of thinking the same thing but i will still chnge the HG on the JDM for a stocker with arp stud torque down to 85-ft/lbs

A mild Rebuild is a good idea.

Also maybe send the block off to be cleaned and painted

Bob: Are the any numbers stamped on the deck in one of the coolant cutouts of the gasket?

If so might be an idea finding another piston for that hole and then slap her back together for the time being.... (can't say I'm surprised though :( )

as long as it hasn't gouged up the walls you'll probably get away with a flexhone and slap it together till ya can get the replacement built!

I wouldn't run it as it is though :(
