So while waiting on parts and dealing with this stupid cold weather, i've put the datsun aside for a few weeks. Also trying to get the supra back on the road.

I've been wondering on what type of ECU i should run...my first thought was to use the stock 7m ecu and a piggyback to be able to use speed density....im not the biggest fan of piggybacks. So I will be looking at different EMS. The easiest way would be going with the AEM EMS v1 for the 7mgte and continue to use the 7m harness and electronics (minus the afm of course).

My second option which would MegaSquirt v1 (with ms1 extra) and tie it into the 7m engine harness, sensors and electronics. The only issue i have with this is if i can incorporate the 7m CPS with this set up....i've seen it done before but i can't find the thread on it.

Ideas?

Rod Bearings and Bolts done...i cant start putting the motor back together and hopefully drop it back in soon.

Roll bar came in but the holes aren't lining up too well so looks like i'll be welding it in.

Pics to come soon enough!

You know, I really like that generation of 7, but was never crazy for the stretched wheelbase versions. Can't afford a driver, you see... :p

Still waiting on the motor for the 7 series...hopefully i can do the swap without any issues *knock on wood*

I've decided to use a t3 turbo as oppose to the t4 i had. I bought an adapter for the manifold. Right now im contemplating on which turbo to use. I was thinking about using an HX35 or similar or a 48, 54 55mm Precision turbo....all i want is a nice spool....however the holsets would have a nice sound :-/

Does anyone have suggestions???

Small and ball bearing if quick spool is what you're after.

Also, is that a double stack radiator setup on that last picture there?
