I usually drive around with my defrosters on at like 70 to keep some heat off the engine, But I can only get the Heater/AC to blow on the high setting. Anyone know of a fix or common problem that is fixable?

Cliffs - AC/heater only blows when it is set to high. Any solutions?

yes, I did this repair, it is the little resistor pack under the glove box...it's almost flush with the firewall, just above the carpet...has a connector going to it...it's kinda hard to describe where it is, so I hope that was adequate...

IIRC, it was like $35 at the stealership!

Yes, the blower resistor thing is mounted underneath the glove box. You can lift the lower plastic portion up a little bit and you'll be able to see the one screw that holds it into the ducting. It's a really simple replacement. My low speed didn't work at all, but does now. It isn't that expensive of a piece.

It's actually not visible in that pic, it's to the right.

Argh - i had this thing on mine - the AC works but no blower motor for anything. The resistor pack had gone on mine and was about 24 quid iirc from the dealership. Make sure you get the right resistor pack! If in doubt, take in your old one - i didnt and made the mistake of ordering the one for the non automatic aircon - which i actually have.

Still, that didnt fix my problem and i still have no blower - which is really starting to annoy me! If i still get heat and A/C but only while driving along and the vents open to the outside world - is it going to be the control unit, the breaker on the passenger side, or the blower motor itself??
